The Masonry of Thought 55

Welcome, beautiful traveler. I greet you with 55 words that I hope may come in handy.

You can make yourself believe a great many things, simply by repeating them over and over and over again.

Good things.

Bad things.

Wonderful things.

Terrible things.

Lovely things.

Hateful things.

Keep that in mind the next time you start to tell yourself something.

Is it really the kind of thing you want to stick?

55

Thank you, goddess of love, for positive focus of mind.

Lovingly yours,

A devotee

So true. They even say the same thing about lies. If you repeat a lie several times it takes the appearance of Truth!

Mona,

Unfortunately, I sometimes think this is MORE true of lies than of the truth. Many truths are beautiful, and yet we have a hard time getting ourselves to accept them. Yet we can make ourselves believe ugly lies quite easily.

G-Man,

Wow, that's certainly high praise, considering how big the Web is! Just so that I don't become any more egotistical than I already am, I'm going to assume you're exaggerating for dramatic effect. But I'm very flattered nonetheless, thank you!

Anthony,

Another much-appreciated compliment! Thanks!

Love to all,

Devotee
